ProMag Industries' 10-round magazine is for the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380 ACP semi-automatic pocket pistol when you prefer a few more rounds at the ready. It's only a slight increase to the base magazine length and compensates with a finger-rest extension.
This M&P magazine is constructed from blued-steel that has been heat-treated. ProMag uses a spring wound from heat-treated chrome-silicon wire for strength and reliability that won't lose its tension no matter how long the magazine is left loaded.
DuPont's Zytel polymer—a brand both lightweight and heat-resistant enough be used in car engines—makes up the follower, lock-plate, and base-plate of the magazine.
